Limited edition Troll Cross pendant in solid silver.
This is a fabulously heavy silver pendant - Perfect gift for a Viking enthusiast.
 
Norse legend has it that these were hung above a door or window, to prevent trolls or evil spirits from entering and harming people or property. It can also be a piece of iron worn as an amulet to ward off malevolent magic. 
No coincidence I think that it also forms the rune Othila - which among other things stands for "Home".
 
I sculpted a model and used it to sand cast this pendant out of scrap silver from my workshop.
It was then polished and given a patina to make the shape really stand out.
It weighs a hefty 10.5 grams and has been hallmarked at Sheffield Assay Office with the British standard marks for sterling.
 
The pendant looks great on a leather necklace and comes with a 18" black one with silver ends and a silver clasp. If you want  a different length I'd be happy to make a new one.
